Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum circuits on superconducting platforms
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid models
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $2M+ in DARPA/NASA grants for 2026 roadmap initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics/Computer Science with quantum computing focus
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubits or trapped ions
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Mastery of Qiskit/Cirq frameworks and circuit optimization techniques
- Expertise in topological quantum error correction codes
- Strong background in quantum machine learning algorithms
- Security clearance eligibility for government projects
