Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams to translate theoretical models into practical applications
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Prototype quantum software using Qiskit, Cirq, and proprietary platforms
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants and partnerships
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and measurement
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulators
- Experience with IBM Quantum Experience and Google Cirq
- Demonstrated ability to secure government/industry funding
