Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction techniques to enhance quantum system reliability and scalability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum processors and validate performance metrics
- Lead research initiatives in quantum cryptography and secure communication protocols
- Publish findings in leading scientific journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum computing curriculum development
- Secure research grants and partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field with quantum computing specialization
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum system optimization
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical high-performance computing
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
- Publication record in peer-reviewed quantum computing research or equivalent industry contributions
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ) and cloud quantum services
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex research projects and secure external funding
