Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in cryptography, optimization, and machine learning
- Lead cross-functional research teams to prototype and validate quantum computing systems
- Develop quantum simulation tools and software frameworks for experimental validation
- Contribute to peer-reviewed publications and present findings at international conferences
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum processor performance
- Identify and address scalability challenges in quantum error correction protocols
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of quantum innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum information theory, and quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical Python/C++
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information science
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures and decoherence challenges
- Experience with machine learning frameworks applied to quantum systems
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to work on abstract, complex problems
