Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and machine learning acceleration
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error-corrected qubit systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications for Nature/Science journals
- Prototype quantum hardware interfaces using cryogenic engineering principles
- Secure $10M+ in NSF/DARPA grant funding for experimental research
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Davos Tech Summit
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2018-2023)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with superconducting qubits or topological quantum systems
- Published research in Nature/Science with >200 citations
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# frameworks
- Demonstrated success in securing federal research grants
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, surface, color codes)
- Fluency in Python/C++ with parallel computing optimization
