As part of our elite Future Technologies Division, you'll contribute to projects spanning cryptography optimization, quantum machine learning, and molecular simulation. Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, logistics, and materials science
- Lead experimental research on quantum error correction and qubit stability
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum processor architectures
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and foster cross-functional innovation
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Publication record in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and computational theory
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
