Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications in optimization, machine learning, and cryptography
- Develop novel quantum error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant computation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype and test quantum processors at cryogenic temperatures
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives in quantum machine learning and simulation
- Publish breakthrough findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Secure research grants and patents for proprietary quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of quantum research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and classical HPC frameworks
- Published work in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum information theory and many-body quantum systems
- Experience with quantum simulators (QASM, Quil) and low-level quantum control systems
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to solve complex multi-variable problems
- Excellent written communication for technical documentation and grant proposals
