Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Conduct cutting-edge research in quantum cryptography and secure communication
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
- Stay current with emerging quantum technologies and industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing focus
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and information theory
- Proven track record of publishing in quantum computing research
- Experience with quantum simulation tools and high-performance computing
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ions, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
