You'll work in state-of-the-art facilities with access to IBM Quantum, D-Wave, and custom-built quantum simulators.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in machine learning and computational chemistry
- Develop error-correction protocols to enhance quantum gate fidelity beyond 99.9%
- Lead research on topological qubits and quantum annealing systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors with 100+ qubit stability
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure patents for novel quantum communication protocols
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with high-performance computing frameworks (HPC, CUDA)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware calibration and validation
