Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and simulation applications
- Lead experimental research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems

- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics
- Secure and manage research grants from NSF, DARPA, and private foundations
- Publish peer-reviewed papers in Nature/Science journals and present at QIP conferences
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Expertise in quantum algorithm development (QAOA, VQE, Grover's variants)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, Qiskit)

- Strong background in linear algebra, statistical mechanics, and information theory
