Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and machine learning applications
- Lead experiments with superconducting qubits and photonic quantum systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum networks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-classical hybrid architectures
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Mentor PhD interns from Stanford and Caltech quantum programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (post-doc preferred)
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks
- Security clearance eligibility for government quantum projects
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum hardware interfaces
