Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, logistics, and materials science
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuits for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum protocols on our 1000+ qubit processors
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD candidates and develop open-source quantum frameworks
- Secure $1M+ in NSF/DOE grants for quantum research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 3+ years postdoc experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Published record in top-tier quantum computing journals (PRL, Quantum)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological quantum computing
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum data analysis
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems and control electronics
