Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum processors operating at >99.9% fidelity
- Lead research on quantum error correction for fault-tolerant computing systems
- Develop quantum software frameworks compatible with emerging hardware architectures
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams

Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Publication record in quantum computing or related high-performance computing
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong mathematical foundations in linear algebra, probability, and information theory
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
