Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for error correction and quantum supremacy
- Lead experimental research on superconducting qubit systems at millikelvin temperatures
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present findings at premier conferences like QIP and APS March Meeting
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA/NASA quantum computing grants
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory
- Develop patentable quantum hardware architectures for 2026 commercial deployment
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum circuit design using Qiskit, Cirq, or similar frameworks
- Deep understanding of decoherence mechanisms and quantum error correction codes
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware (dilution refrigerators, RF control systems)
