Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning
- Develop quantum error correction codes to enhance qubit stability and computational fidelity
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to prototype and test quantum processor architectures
- Lead research initiatives in quantum supremacy applications and hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development for proprietary technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact quantum computing research
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical quantum hardware implementations
