Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Develop error correction techniques to enhance quantum coherence times beyond current industry standards
- Collaborate on quantum hardware architecture improvements with our engineering division
- Lead research initiatives in quantum cryptography and post-quantum security protocols
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development in quantum technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Demonstrated expertise in quantum algorithm design and complexity analysis
- Strong background in quantum information theory and many-body quantum systems
- Publication record in top-tier scientific journals (Nature, Science, PRL, etc.)
- Experience with low-level quantum hardware control and cryogenic systems
- Ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
