Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex computational challenges
- Lead research on topological qubit stabilization and quantum error correction
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor architectures
- Publish peer-reviewed research and secure federal/industry grants
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Translate research findings into patentable technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and simulation frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
