Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and machine learning applications
- Lead prototyping of quantum hardware systems operating at millikelvin temperatures
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech on quantum error correction methodologies
- Develop patent-pending quantum communication protocols for 2026 deployment
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Present findings at international conferences (IEEE Quantum Week, APS March Meeting)
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information with 3+ years postdoc experience
- Proven track record publishing in quantum computing (h-index >15)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Hands-on experience with dilution refrigerators and superconducting qubits
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence mitigation
- Strong background in topological quantum computing models
- Ability to secure NSF/NIH grants for quantum research initiatives
