Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum hardware prototypes and error-correction protocols
- Conduct advanced simulations using quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Collaborate with industry partners to commercialize quantum solutions
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum computing curriculum development
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, or quantum hardware design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (QASM, Qiskit, Cirq) and Python/C++
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or adjacent fields
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and information theory
- Experience with quantum simulators and cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex concepts
