Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen quantum hardware interfaces
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals/conferences (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Develop error-correction methodologies for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Secure $2M+ in government and industry grants for quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information science
- Partner with AI divisions to create hybrid quantum-classical frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments (HPC, cloud)
