Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography applications
- Conduct experimental quantum simulations using IBM Q and Google Quantum AI platforms
- Collaborate with hardware team to mitigate decoherence in superconducting qubits
- Author peer-reviewed publications for Nature Quantum and IEEE journals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex systems theory
- Proficiency in Python and low-level quantum hardware interfacing
- Experience with machine learning for quantum state tomography
