Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental quantum hardware testing and validation protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop commercial quantum computing frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Secure and manage research grants from government and private sector partners
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithm development and error correction techniques
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience securing research funding and managing R&D budgets
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
