Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for next-gen computational systems
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop error-correction protocols for scalable quantum processors
- Conduct groundbreaking research in quantum cryptography and secure communication networks
- Develop simulation frameworks for quantum advantage validation in enterprise applications
- Author patents and publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers in quantum physics and computational theory
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit architectures for 2026 deployment
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Proven track record in quantum algorithm development and quantum error correction
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in theoretical physics and computational complexity theory
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal or industry research grants ($1M+)
- Published research in quantum computing with 50+ citations
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and superconducting qubits
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for complex multidimensional quantum systems
