Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical workflows for optimization in logistics, drug discovery, and climate modeling
- Lead integration of quantum processors with cloud infrastructure (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography systems
- Collaborate with materials science teams to optimize qubit coherence times
- Create predictive models for quantum error correction using machine learning
- Document architectural blueprints and publish research in IEEE/ACM journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, APS March Meeting)
- Experience with large-scale distributed computing architectures
- Familiarity with NISQ-era limitations and mitigation strategies
- Strong background in topological quantum computing theory
