Job Description
Join Nexus Labs at the forefront of technological evolution as we pioneer quantum-resistant infrastructure for 2026 and beyond. We're seeking a visionary Quantum Infrastructure Architect to design next-generation security frameworks that will safeguard our digital ecosystem against emerging computational threats. This role combines cutting-edge cryptography, distributed systems expertise, and strategic foresight to build the resilient infrastructure of tomorrow.
As a key member of our Future Systems Division, you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates and industry disruptors to transform theoretical quantum security into practical, scalable solutions. You'll shape our blueprint for post-quantum cryptography while mentoring the next generation of cryptographers and infrastructure engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols and distributed security systems
- Lead implementation of hybrid quantum-classical infrastructure across global data centers
- Develop predictive models for cryptographic vulnerability timelines (2024-2030)
- Architect zero-trust frameworks compatible with quantum computing environments
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams to optimize cryptographic algorithm performance
- Present threat evolution scenarios to executive stakeholders and board members
- Mentor junior engineers in post-quantum security best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Cryptography, Quantum Computing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing enterprise-grade security infrastructure
- Expertise in lattice-based cryptography and quantum-resistant algorithms
- Proficiency with AWS/Azure quantum services and hybrid cloud architectures
- Published research in quantum security or post-quantum cryptography
- Experience with NIST post-quantum standardization process
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-throughput networking
- Certification in quantum security (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq) preferred
