Job Description
Join Nexus Future Labs as a Quantum Infrastructure Architect and pioneer the next wave of technological evolution. We're building the foundational systems that will power 2026's quantum computing revolution. This role demands a visionary who can translate theoretical quantum advantage into scalable, real-world infrastructure solutions. You'll architect hybrid quantum-classical systems that bridge today's limitations with tomorrow's breakthroughs.
Our Austin-based innovation hub offers unparalleled resources to develop quantum-safe protocols, optimize qubit stability, and design error-corrected architectures. You'll collaborate with Nobel laureates and industry disruptors to create the digital backbone of 2026's most critical industries—from climate modeling to drug discovery.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical computing infrastructure with 99.99% qubit fidelity
- Develop quantum-safe encryption protocols for post-quantum cryptography readiness
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum systems supporting 100+ logical qubits by 2026
- Create deployment frameworks for quantum edge computing in IoT ecosystems
- Optimize quantum annealing solutions for complex logistics and energy grid modeling
- Lead quantum machine learning pipeline development for predictive analytics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years architecting high-performance computing systems with HPC certification
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, or color codes)
- Proficiency in Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq for quantum algorithm development
- Published research in quantum computing or peer-reviewed architecture papers
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Security clearance for DoD quantum projects or equivalent federal work
