Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing infrastructure integrating qubit processors, cryogenic systems, and classical control networks
- Design hybrid quantum-AI frameworks for real-time optimization of industrial processes
- Lead implementation of quantum-safe cryptographic protocols for 2026 security standards
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum error correction systems supporting 10,000+ qubit operations
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (quantum physicists, ML engineers, cybersecurity specialists)
- Drive R&D initiatives in quantum materials science and topological qubit development
- Establish quantum network protocols enabling global quantum communication infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years designing large-scale distributed systems with quantum computing components
- Expertise in quantum error correction algorithms and fault-tolerant architectures
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware (superconducting qubits, ion traps, photonics)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
