Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial-scale deployment
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum error correction protocols
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing interfaces for enterprise applications
- Research and implement novel quantum networking solutions using photonic interconnects
- Establish security frameworks for quantum-encrypted communications
- Develop quantum simulation benchmarks for pharmaceutical and materials science applications
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing infrastructure or high-performance computing architecture
- Expertise in quantum error correction algorithms and fault-tolerant design
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit systems
- Demonstrated success in publishing peer-reviewed quantum computing research
- Experience with cloud-based quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
