Responsibilities
- Design and deploy quantum computing hardware architectures with 100+ qubit scalability
- Develop cryogenic control systems operating at millikelvin temperatures
- Implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant operations
- Optimize quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows
- Lead integration of quantum processors with cloud-native platforms
- Conduct thermal management and electromagnetic shielding protocols
- Document quantum system performance metrics and failure analysis
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and qubit manipulation techniques
- Proficiency with cryogenic systems and dilution refrigerator operations
- Experience with quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and Q#
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum, GCP)
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields preferred
