Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scalable quantum computing infrastructure supporting 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop quantum network protocols ensuring <99.99% fidelity across distributed quantum nodes
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators with classical HPC environments
- Establish quantum-safe security frameworks for 2026-era communications
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Drive R&D initiatives in topological qubit stabilization and cryogenic control systems
- Partner with government agencies on quantum standards development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 8+ years in high-performance computing infrastructure with quantum exposure
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic systems and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Published research in quantum networking or fault-tolerant architectures
