Role Overview:
We are looking for an expert to design the software stacks for our next-generation quantum processors. If you have a passion for breaking the boundaries of what is possible in computing, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum circuit architectures for fault-tolerant computing.
- Collaborate with quantum hardware engineers to minimize error rates in qubit manipulation.
- Develop software stacks for quantum cloud platforms, including Python and C++ integration.
- Lead the research into qubit connectivity and error correction codes (e.g., Surface Code, LDPC).
- Present technical roadmaps to executive stakeholders and industry partners.
- Stay ahead of quantum algorithmic breakthroughs and implement them in real-time.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, or Electrical Engineering with a focus on quantum mechanics.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, preferably with high-performance computing.
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil).
- Deep understanding of linear algebra and quantum information theory.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment.
