In this role, you will work closely with our art and design teams to implement complex 2D systems, optimize rendering pipelines, and ensure our games run smoothly across all platforms. You will be instrumental in defining our technical stack for future 2D projects, pushing the boundaries of what is possible within Unity and custom engines.

Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-performance 2D gameplay mechanics and interaction systems using C# and Unity 2D.
- Optimize 2D rendering pipelines to ensure 60 FPS performance on mobile and desktop devices.
- Collaborate with 2D artists to integrate sprite animations, parallax backgrounds, and particle effects seamlessly.
- Debug complex issues within the game engine and third-party libraries (e.g., Spine, VFX Graph).
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following SOLID principles and agile methodologies.
- Contribute to the technical design of our next-gen 2D tools and pipelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D game development, preferably with Unity or Godot.
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET.
- Deep understanding of 2D physics, collision detection, and state management.
- Experience with 2D animation tools (Spine, DragonBones) and post-processing effects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for creating engaging player experiences.
