The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing high-fidelity 2D animations that captivate audiences and elevate our clients' brands. You will work closely with art directors, copywriters, and developers to ensure every pixel serves a purpose.
Responsibilities
- Design and animate 2D characters, environments, and motion graphics for web and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop storyboards and visual concepts that align with project goals.
- Rig and animate assets in Adobe After Effects, ensuring fluid motion and adherence to style guides.
- Optimize video files and render sequences for maximum performance across various devices and bandwidths.
- Review final deliverables for quality assurance, including timing, composition, and color accuracy.
- Provide mentorship and creative direction to junior designers within the team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in 2D animation or motion design.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, spacing, squash and stretch, and secondary action.
- Ability to work independently while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.
- A robust portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of animation styles and technical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
