Responsibilities
- Lead the development and optimization of high-performance 2D rendering engines using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement complex animations and interactive visualizations that drive user engagement.
- Optimize application performance, ensuring smooth 60fps animations even on lower-end devices.
- Debug and resolve complex cross-browser compatibility issues, ensuring a consistent experience across all major platforms.
- Maintain and expand our internal library of 2D utilities and rendering components to accelerate future development cycles.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and security standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in web development, with a strong focus on 2D graphics and animation.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Deep understanding of the Canvas API and advanced animation techniques.
- Experience with 2D game engines or frameworks such as Phaser, PixiJS, or Matter.js.
- Strong grasp of responsive design principles and mobile-first methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
