Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the implementation of scalable AI and machine learning infrastructure capable of supporting high-volume production environments.
- Roadmap Strategy: Define the technical vision for the 2026 landscape, identifying emerging trends in AI and integrating them into our core product suite.
- Team Mentorship: Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists and software engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Research & Development: Stay at the forefront of AI research, evaluating new algorithms and frameworks (e.g., Transformers, Graph Neural Networks) to improve system performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- System Optimization: Drive initiatives to optimize model latency, reduce inference costs, and improve the overall efficiency of our AI pipelines.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years specifically focused on AI/ML architecture.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex, ambiguous problems with scalable technical solutions.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams through the full software development lifecycle.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
