Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end-to-end machine learning pipelines for large-scale LLM training, fine-tuning, and deployment.
- Optimize model inference latency and resource utilization through advanced quantization, pruning, and distributed training strategies.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams of data scientists, backend engineers, and product managers to define technical requirements.
- Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, model governance, and ethical AI usage.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the engineering team.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in deep learning and NLP to integrate novel techniques into our stack.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in building production-grade AI/ML systems, specifically with Python and deep learning frameworks.
- Deep expertise in PyTorch or TensorFlow, with a strong understanding of transformer architectures.
- Extensive experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models.
- Proficiency with MLOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
