Responsibilities
- Architect and Scale: Design, implement, and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning models designed to support our 2026 product vision.
- Strategic Roadmap: Translate high-level business goals into technical roadmaps, defining the AI capabilities required for the next fiscal year.
- Research & Innovation: Lead internal R&D initiatives, exploring emerging technologies (e.g., LLMs, Transformers) to stay ahead of the curve.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Model Optimization: Drive efforts to improve model accuracy, latency, and efficiency on our distributed compute clusters.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, SQL, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) or Computer Vision is a strong plus.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
