Responsibilities
- Define and implement a comprehensive global AI governance framework tailored for 2026 and beyond.
- Conduct rigorous risk assessments and bias audits on proprietary large language models (LLMs) and generative algorithms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate ethical constraints into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Develop clear policies for data privacy, algorithmic transparency, and human-in-the-loop decision making.
- Advocate for responsible AI adoption to stakeholders, investors, and regulatory bodies.
- Lead training programs to foster an ethical culture within the engineering department.
- Monitor emerging global regulations (e.g., EU AI Act, US Federal AI Standards) and adapt governance strategies accordingly.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, data science, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience specifically in AI ethics, algorithmic fairness, or technology policy.
- Deep understanding of machine learning architectures, neural networks, and NLP technologies.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving consensus on complex technical decisions.
- Experience with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, and upcoming AI-specific regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets to identify bias and systemic risks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for diverse audiences.
