Responsibilities
- Architect and Deploy: Design and implement scalable AI infrastructure for production-grade LLM applications, focusing on latency reduction and cost efficiency.
- R&D Leadership: Lead research initiatives in Multimodal AI and Chain-of-Thought reasoning to meet 2026 industry benchmarks.
- Model Optimization: Fine-tune proprietary models using techniques like LoRA, QLoRA, and quantization to enhance performance on edge devices.
- Ethical AI: Develop and enforce governance frameworks to ensure AI safety, fairness, and transparency in automated decision-making processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product and Engineering teams to translate complex research concepts into user-centric, high-impact features.
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML, with at least 2 years leading complex engineering projects.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face Transformers.
- Mathematical Proficiency: Strong understanding of linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics.
- System Design: Deep knowledge of distributed systems, cloud architecture (AWS/GCP), and MLOps pipelines.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
