Responsibilities
- Architect Neural Systems: Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant neural architectures capable of processing exabytes of real-time data.
- Roadmap Leadership: Define the technical strategy and deliverables for the 2026 AI roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Prioritize Performance: Optimize model inference speeds and reduce computational overhead for edge deployment scenarios.
- Research & Development: Collaborate with research labs to integrate cutting-edge findings into production-ready systems.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Security & Compliance: Implement rigorous security protocols to protect proprietary training data and model weights.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead architectural role.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and C++. Experience with distributed computing frameworks (Apache Spark, Ray) is required.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Computer Vision.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Location: Must be willing to work in our San Francisco office 3 days a week.
