The Opportunity

Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 AI Roadmap: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan for AI integration, focusing on long-term scalability and innovation.
- Technical Visionary Leadership: Stay ahead of emerging trends in Machine Learning, NLP, and Generative AI to ensure Apex remains a market leader.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, and executive teams to translate business goals into technical roadmaps.
- Talent Acquisition & Development: Build and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Stakeholder Communication: Articulate complex technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders and C-level executives to secure buy-in.
- Performance Analytics: Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the success of AI initiatives and optimize ROI.
Qualifications
- Strategic Experience: 10+ years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or Machine Learning, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or directorial role.
- Technical Mastery: Deep technical knowledge of AI/ML frameworks, cloud architecture, and big data processing (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, AWS, Azure).
- Strategic Planning: Proven ability to define long-term technical roadmaps and drive strategic initiatives from conception to completion.
- Leadership: Demonstrated success in managing large, diverse teams and leading organizational change.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field; Master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
