Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts with precision in high-volume warehouse settings
- Execute efficient loading/unloading of freight trucks while maintaining strict safety protocols
- Conduct daily pre-operational equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Manage inventory counts and assist with warehouse organization systems
- Maintain accurate digital records of material movements and inventory transactions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-approved forklift certification with minimum 2 years recent experience
- Proven ability to operate multiple forklift types (electric, propane, narrow aisle)
- OSHA 10-hour General Industry certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic inventory management experience or WMS familiarity
