Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environment
- Perform daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance checks
- Manage inventory through scanning systems and cycle count procedures
- Coordinate with receiving/shipping teams for efficient material flow
- Maintain OSHA compliance and complete safety documentation
- Train junior operators on equipment protocols and safety standards
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience operating sit-down forklifts
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic knowledge of WMS systems (e.g., Manhattan, Oracle)
- Successful background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with temperature-controlled environments preferred
