Responsibilities
- Operate electric/pneumatic forklifts to load/unload shipments with zero-incident record
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Manage inventory using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Train junior operators on safety protocols and equipment usage
- Maintain clean, organized storage areas per OSHA standards
- Coordinate with shipping/receiving teams for timely material flow
- Complete shift logs and incident reports accurately
Qualifications
- OSHA-certified forklift operator (or equivalent certification)
- 3+ years experience in warehouse/forklift operations
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficient in inventory tracking software (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends during peak seasons
