Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in compliance with OSHA standards
- Manage inventory movements with WMS system integration and RF scanning
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Coordinate cross-functional warehouse operations with shipping/receiving teams
- Train new operators on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Maintain accurate inventory records and cycle count documentation
- Implement lean principles to optimize warehouse efficiency
Qualifications
- OSHA-certified forklift operator with 3+ years' experience
- Valid Virginia driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying climate conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Forklift certifications: sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, and order picker
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends as needed
