Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to move, load, and unload materials
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs promptly
- Train new operators on safety standards and operational best practices
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Ensure proper stacking and secure storage of all materials
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and valid Florida driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Experience with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
