Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts with precision in fast-paced warehouse environment
- Execute inventory management tasks using RF scanning technology
- Coordinate cross-functional team loading/unloading operations with 95%+ accuracy
- Maintain OSHA compliance through daily equipment inspections and documentation
- Implement FIFO inventory rotation protocols for perishable goods
- Train new operators on safety procedures and operational best practices
- Optimize warehouse layouts to minimize travel time and maximize efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years verifiable forklift operation experience in warehouse/distribution setting
- OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand/walk 8+ hours per shift
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness abilities
- WMS or inventory control experience preferred
- HAZMAT certification desirable
