Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts with precision to move, load, and unload materials in compliance with OSHA standards
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Manage inventory control systems using WMS software for accurate stock tracking
- Maintain clean, organized work zones and implement 5S methodology
- Train junior operators on safety protocols and operational best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflows
- Adhere to all company safety policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and current driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
