Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory records through RF scanning systems
- Inspect and perform basic forklift maintenance pre/post-shift
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows
- Train new operators on equipment and safety procedures
- Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, order pickers) as needed
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (current or obtainable within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse/forklift experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic RF scanning system proficiency
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- OSHA 10-Hour certification preferred
- Valid Florida driver's license
