Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials efficiently through 200,000 sq ft warehouse
- Maintain inventory accuracy via RF scanning and cycle count procedures
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures
- Coordinate cross-functional material handling with production/shipping teams
- Perform daily equipment inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Train new operators on safe handling techniques and equipment operation
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum space utilization and workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- 2+ years verifiable forklift operation experience with sit-down/stand-up certifications
- Valid OSHA 10-hour General Industry certification required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work 8-12 hour shifts with overtime
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication abilities for team collaboration
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Forklift certification renewal within 30 days of hire
